Not in the Business of Begging

We are not in the business of begging God to feel His presence, but we (worship team) are in the business of giving Him all glory and honor during worship service despite of our feelings because His presence is already with us.

This was basically what I shared to my ministry friends in worship team on our music practice last Saturday. I shared how recently I felt somehow distant to God and His presence when I led worship on previous worship service. And that God has encouraged me that week (last week), reminding me the core of music ministry is all about. One thing: to give glory, honor, adoration, and majesty to God because He has done it all for us already. 

This song (out of four songs we sang last Sunday) resounded so clearly in my heart. This song has a very simple lyrics yet so profound to me last week. 

I thought I shared with you all this particular song. One thing is to give Him glory, to sing praises to His name, to declare His majesty, because His presence is already with us. Thank you Lord Jesus. Be magnified and glorified!
